The role covers 4 regions with sales in 44 legal entities and 39 manufacturing sites for 1.1€ billion sales.
- CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
- Complexity of multiple technologies and high volume of products in different segments and channels.
- Matrix model organisation with a regional structure supplemented by global categories
- Strong growth objectives defined, both organic and via M&A with recent acquisitions being integrated into the organisation
- Reporting / controlling:
- Responsible of global reporting for the GBU, consolidating data from regions, issuing for review by BU management and submission to end user, working to tight deadlines
- Coordination, preparation and analysis of monthly results and forecasts (M+1, Quarterly) highlighting variances to objectives and working with regions to provide clear summaries of explanations and corrective actions for BU management
- Preparation of monthly activity presentation (“RCG”) and reporting brochure of monthly performance (P&L by region, entity, segment; TWC; headcounts; capex…)
- Analysis of Trade Working Capital, definition of objectives and follow up of achievements
- Coordination and responsible of annual financial budgets process, regular business reviews and periodic strategic plans, working closely with the Financial Controller GBU C&C and in accordance with BU, ensuring co-ordination of the various functions and regions involved.
- Ensures the control of activities and achievement of objectives by a regular follow up of KPI defined with BU management (NPDs, productivity and development initiatives, non-recurring items … etc)
- Provide analysis for requests as required by GBU management,
- Responsible for SG&A reporting, forecasting and budgeting (200 M€ total costs) at GBU level. Ensure global visibility for management, standardize reporting, processes, tools and analysis across the GBU
- Coordinate reporting and forecasting for raw materials costs (management value analyst position), and LEAP initiatives, together with R&D
- Responsible for SEMEA region controlling (40 M€ sales, 3 M€ EBITDA) 4 countries, in partnership with local controllers / finance organization
- Integration of new entities
- Consolidation
- In charge of consolidation of the global C&C GBU
- Responsible for the consolidation of the EMEA perimeter, needed for financial communication purpose
- Support GBU for specific global analysis / projects coordination at GBU level (internal controls, Ad-hoc requests / analysis)
- BI and system
- In charge of BI systems maintenance, consistency of data, master user for the GBU
- C&C point of contact for projects on IT Financial systems, common BI tools etc…
- Team Management
- Lead a team of 3 persons, define roles & responsibilities together with GBU Financial Controller in a dynamic and growing environment
