Reporting to the Global Head of Operations, the Supply chain director defines and implements the Supply Chain strategy to support business growth, leverages operations perspectives to contribute to the company strategy, and aligns global supply chain strategy with business ones. The role covers Demand planning, Supply Planning, industrial planification, Logistic, Customer Services.
The whole perimeter needs to be upgraded and the project is to be continued to serve the global strategy. Big focus is to be given to SC worldwide organisation maturity and effectiveness, to the S&OP which is key to have an efficient and innovative Supply Chain organisation. The SC also need to work on better reliability and gain in agility and flexibility. Even if never wholly finished, the SC should be perfectly running in additional 2 years’ time. So, the project is at mid-way.
Specific challenge on Group distribution model due to a very wide range of products, and also due to the diversity of distribution models (shops, corners, retail, e commerce, Travel Retail, BtoB…)
Mission:
Translate strategy into initiatives / change management roadmaps to reach company’s objectives
Ensure the relationship with his/her counterparts to receive product and sales strategy inputs and with other maisons / external benchmark to identify and exploit possible synergies / practices
Ensure the business model is in constant innovation to face new business challenges (service sourcing, distribution strategy)
Elaborate and monitor the budget and cost control
Define Supply Chain KPI’s, target and manage performance reviews
Coordinate the planning, logistics and the customers service departments to reach objectives
Steer continuous improvement and project roadmap dynamic
Lead cross functional communication with company stakeholders (Sales, Production, finance, Marketing, HRs, Product Development…) to ensure alignment on business priorities and guarantee actions consistency
Manage a team of 33 people
University degree / Engineer or Management degree
Minimum 10 years of experience in Supply-Chain
Proven management experience
Proven SC experience in Supply Planning is a priority, more than in Customer service
Experience in luxury/ Cosmetics/ similar environment is a plus
Past experience in production/planification/industrialisation can give a real plus
Past experience in SC set up, processing, development is key to succeed in the position
International experience
